Permanent Make-up (PMU)

PMU stands for Permanent Makeup, a cosmetic technique in which pigments are inserted into the upper layer of skin using a thin needle, similar to a superficial tattoo, to accentuate or define eyebrows (such as powder brows, microblading), eyeliners, or lips. The goal is natural-looking, long-lasting makeup that gradually fades (usually 1-3 years).
The total price always includes a touch-up after 6 weeks.

Powder brows
Powder brows are a semi-permanent makeup technique that gives the eyebrows a soft, powdery shadow, as if they have been colored with eyebrow powder, by very subtly applying pigment to the upper skin layer with a PMU device. This results in fuller, more defined, yet natural-looking eyebrows, ideal for people who want to reduce their daily makeup routine.

Shadow liner
Shadow eyeliner is a form of permanent makeup that creates a soft, "smokey" or shaded look along the lash line, instead of a hard, clean line, making the eyes look more natural and sparkling, ideal for a subtle makeup look with a light "wing."

Faux Freckles
Faux freckles are fake freckles that are tattooed onto your skin using semi-permanent makeup to create a natural, sun-kissed look, especially on the nose and cheeks. Pigment is applied shallowly into the skin so that they gradually fade (1-3 years) and give a youthful look, instead of having to apply makeup every day.

How do I care for my PMU?
Caring for permanent makeup (PMU) is crucial to ensure that the pigment heals properly in the skin and that the desired result is achieved.
✨Immediately after treatment
Wound care: Permanent makeup is a skin treatment that involves making small wounds. Immediately after treatment, the skin may be red and swollen, and some lymph fluid (clear wound fluid) may be released.
✨Daily aftercare (first week)
• Clean gently: clean your face with a non-aggressive cleanser/soap but avoid the area where you just had your PMU treatment. This area must remain dry.
• No makeup: Avoid applying makeup to or around the treated area until the skin has healed completely.
• Prevent scabs: Do not scratch or rub any scabs that may form. This can remove the pigment and lead to scarring.
• If desired, a healing ointment can be provided, but in principle this is not necessary. We opt for dry healing.
✨What to avoid during the healing process
• Direct sun: Exposure to sunlight or tanning beds can cause the pigment to fade. If necessary, use a sunscreen with a high SPF, but only after complete healing.
• Water: Avoid excessive contact with water (such as swimming, saunas, or long showers) to prevent infection and pigment loss.
• Sweating: Avoid intense exercise or other activities that cause excessive sweating.
• Alcohol and caffeine: These can affect healing by stimulating blood circulation.
✨The healing process (2-6 weeks)
• Scabbing: Small scabs or flaky skin may develop during the first week. This is normal. The skin begins to repair itself, and the pigment often appears lighter or uneven.
• Pigment development: The pigment needs time to settle into the skin. The final result will be visible after about 4 to 6 weeks. A touch-up may be necessary to correct any unevenness.
✨Long-term care
• UV protection: Always use sunscreen on the PMU to minimize fading due to UV radiation.
• Touch-ups: A touch-up may be necessary after 1-3 years.
